Jan pursues a portfolio of interests as an executive coach and non-executive Chair of consultancies Given, PAMCo and Utopia. She sits on the CMI Race Equity Committee.
She previously enjoyed a successful marketing career during which time she has worked with FTSE 100 companies such as BT, British Gas, Diageo and Unilever and, latterly, as the Group Brand Director at Aviva. She is the former President of the Market Research Society.
She is regular columnist for The Media Leader, a Fellow of The IPA and an Honorary Fellow of the Marketing Society and Market Research Society. In 2019 she was the recipient of The Drum’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
In 2022 The Kaleidoscope International Trust presented her with a Lifetime Achievement Award for services to human rights and social justice.
